Titanfall is Respawn Entertainment's debut project that is set to be released on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC, with the 360 version being developed by Bluepoint instead of Respawn.
This is a multiplayer-only first person shooter, but will feature a few cut scenes and characters to add a single player story feel. It will support up to 12 players (6 vs 6) on Xbox One and PC, plus an additional 12 on each side when counting A.I. controlled Minions and Titans. No details have been announced for the Xbox 360 version.
In Titanfall, many generations of humanity live in the deepest reaches of explored space. This vast region is known as The Frontier. It contains many well-known and inhabited solar systems, but many more worlds remain uncharted.
Most people will never travel this far away from normal civilization. But for pioneers, explorers, mercenaries, outlaws, and soldiers - the Frontier offers both adventure and opportunity.
